Frequently asked questions
Short answers about authorized scans, phishing results, monitoring, accounts, plans, and billing.
Last updated 28 August 2026Can I scan any website?
No. You may use CyberRecon only for public domains that you own or have clear authorization to assess. Active service discovery and scheduled monitoring require verified control or authorization.
Does a phishing verdict guarantee a site is safe?
No. CyberRecon combines technical and contextual indicators into an explainable risk assessment. A low score means the current checks found fewer indicators; it is not a safety certification.
Why can results change between scans?
DNS, certificates, hosting, page content, technologies, and exposed services can change. Monitoring highlights material differences so you can investigate them.
Does CyberRecon store card information?
No. Stripe handles checkout, payment methods, invoices, and the billing portal. CyberRecon stores only the identifiers and subscription state needed to enforce your plan.
Can I cancel a paid plan?
Yes. Signed-in customers can open Stripe’s billing portal and cancel future renewal. Access generally continues until the end date shown in the portal, subject to applicable law and the refund policy.
Can an agency add its own report branding?
Yes. Agency and Pro plans include custom organization names, report titles, accent colors, and support details. Starter reports remain CyberRecon branded.
How do I delete my account?
Open Account, select Security, and use the protected danger zone. Active Stripe subscriptions must be canceled first, and recent password reauthentication is required.
How do I get support?
Email support@cgreglab.space with your account email, the affected domain, the time of the issue, and a non-sensitive screenshot. Never send passwords, recovery links, card details, or API keys.
